• The student must be entering their junior (grade 11) or senior (grade 12) year and enrolled in an eligible public or private high school, including an unaccredited home study or home school program.  Students in unaccredited home school programs must also meet bachelor's degree admissions home school requirements and submit a .
• The student must present a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.25 or higher in their , and the transcript must show evidence that the student is on track toward the completion of the USG RHSC requirements and high school graduation.
• Applicants who have completed Dual Enrollment through another institution should have a 2.50 Cumulative GPA on all College Dual Enrollment coursework attempted.
• The student must meet the subsection minimum requirements for a single test type to be considered for dual enrollment admission. The minimum score requirements are listed below.

Corps of Cadets

Students interested in ºìÁ«ÉçÇø's Corp of Cadets must be at least 17 years of age at the time of enrollment into the program.

Honors Program

Consider applying for ºìÁ«ÉçÇø’s Honors Program if your GPA is a least 3.5 and standardized test scores meet one of the following:

• Evidence Evidence-Based Reading and Writing + Math score on the new SAT of at least 1200
• Combined critical reading and math score on the old SAT of at least 1150
• ACT composite score of at least 25

Summer Language Institutes

Want to get a head start in your language learning journey? Apply for the Summer Language Institutes (SLI). SLI are carefully tailored, residential language programs of study in Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, or Russian. By successfully completing this six-week summer session, SLI participants earn eight (8) academic credit hours to fulfill the foreign language required for most bachelor’s degrees at ºìÁ«ÉçÇø.

Joint Enrollment Program

The Joint Enrollment program at ºìÁ«ÉçÇø allows a high school student in grades 11 or 12 to supplement and enhance their high school curriculum by enrolling in college courses. Courses taken through Joint Enrollment result in college credit only. Students may take one course or up to five courses per semester. These courses may be taken during all terms of the school year; fall, spring, and summer semesters. If a student wishes to attend as a Joint Enrollment student, the student must meet the Dual Enrollment admissions requirements and is responsible for payment of tuition, textbooks, mandatory fees, and course-related fees.

You may start as a dual enrollment student in a bachelor's degree program on any campus or online: Blue Ridge, Cumming, Dahlonega, Gainesville or Oconee. You are not guaranteed a class schedule at particular times or locations.
